Body Double is live!

Last night, I uploaded the book to Amazon and Barnes & Noble. When I woke up this morning, not only was the book live on Amazon, I already had a sale! What a great way to start a Monday. 🙂

Nearly finished

My first to-be-published romance novel is in the hands of my trusty editor, Susan (westofmars.com). I’ve been tweaking the cover, so once I get the edits back and input them, the book will be ready for release.

Am I nervous? YES! This is my first romance novel, and so of course I’m nervous about how the readers will receive this book. Will they love it? Hate it? Find it decidedly “meh?” From the feedback I’ve received so far, some readers will like it. The worst thing that can happen isn’t that it gets negative reviews. Some of those are actually helpful and instructive.

The worst thing that can happen is that nobody ever reads it.
